Jane H. Kim, DDS MS
Dr. Jane Kim limits her practice to surgical therapy including dental extractions and implant therapy, bone and soft tissue grafting, crown lengthening surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, and treatment of periodontal disease. As a specialist, she partners with her restorative colleagues to provide comprehensive dental care to her patients. Dr. Kim firmly believes in a team approach to delivering individualized care and attention consistent with patient goals and desires.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree at Northwestern University, Dr. Kim continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She continued on to a three-year surgical residency program at the same institution, specializing in the field of Periodontics and Implant Surgery. In addition to her specialty training, Dr. Kim also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Sciences. Today, she continues to serve as a clinical associate professor at the University of Illinois’ College of Dentistry, Department of Periodontics. Dr. Kim is a board-certified diplomate with the American Board of Periodontology and is also an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Illinois Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Outside of work, you can find Dr. Kim with her husband, young children, and two dogs. In her spare time, she loves to travel the world to run in their local races, fly south every winter to find better golfing weather, and spend unbeatable family time with her little ones.
